Yesterday, as planned I rushed out to buy a really strong computer for my personal needs towards my favourite DiTech. I have already bought many electronics for me and for a lot of friends of mine, who need technical assistance.
On the way direct on the right hand side of the Subway station Dresdnerstraße, I happen to notice some really well configured computers on the reasonable prices in Gold Adler. I rushed in the shop and checked some of the computer configuration with prices on the customer-dashboard. I found it to be a little bit better than DiTech. The difference was just the period of Guarantee. DiTech provides a two to three year guarantee on comupter or printer system whereas GoldAdler gives just a year guarantee. For me, it way not a big deal.
The salesman Mr. Kas told me that a video card is lacking, I had to wait around two hours. I told okay because for me it was important to get a strong computer on the day, two or three hours were hence not that bad.
At the evening I went there again they handed me a “so called” new computer in a almost torn package. I asked whether it was mine… my new computer. They replied the computer was new but sorry for the package. I was still assured and brought it home.
As I unpacked the computer it looked weird. The back of the housing was damaged so that the screws were not on the place. Of six screws I found only two. On moving, I guessed a screw was inside. I opened the computer. OMG, you won’t believe me , I found there a completely burnt ca. 10″ long cable from the main switch of the computer to the mother board. I am 100% sure the technician have intentionally done it to piss me off. I marked several internal screw not on the place and the gurantee sticker of the power supply was also torn up. It turned me like a bucket of boiling water on my head. It was disgusting to something like that in a new comuter.
I called Mr. Kas on the next day because it was too late to call to the shop. Another morning, he was on line. He told just to exchange the computer. It was not about some part not functioning. It was rather about intentionally undermining computer parts and using parts are already damaged or repaired and fixed and sold at the higher market prices instead second-hand prices. It is also about the safety conditions of the computer buyer / user. The burned isolation and freely open wires could possibly injure someone badly who had paid high for the quality and safety.
You may watch the photo of the condition of the highly paid computer purchased from Gold Adler. It would certainly serve as a publicity to their black face cheating customers and selling old, damaged parts in price of new.
